Here’s my conclusion:
Microsoft argues that its divisions are more innovative together than apart. Kinect presents an opportunity for this cross-fertilization to manifest itself. Perhaps if Microsoft can get its business units to work better together we will see a bit more out of its anemic stock, a little more fire in the eyes of its employees, and a little more respect for its innovations.
