There isn’t much to be said about the $49.99 VisionTek GaN II 65W Wall Fast Charger except that it travels with me everywhere. The diminutive charger runs only 1.59 inches by 1.73 inches, which is significantly smaller than conventional charging blocks that ship with most laptops. Yes, this tiny GaN charger packs 65 watts of power, enough to charge all but the most power-hungry creative or gaming laptops. And for smaller devices, like a tablet and a phone, it will charge both simultaneously.
I recently took my GaN II 65W Wall Fast Charger on a trip to Europe, and it performed well with UK and European adapters (not included), keeping my MacBook Pro and my iPad batteries happily topped off.
The charger runs cool with its built-in heat monitoring circuitry.
While VisionTek does not include cables, the company also sells USB-C, USB-C to Lighting and other compatible cables to meet the charging needs of mobile devices and laptops.
Minimalist packaging. The small GaN design receives sustainabiilty points for its smaller size and lower carbon footprint.
